On the occasion of JHR’s 15th anniversary and Night for Rights 2017 The Toronto Star and the National Post provided us with the very important opportunity to share voices of those who are often voiceless. We are proud and grateful that we were able to share some of the most pivotal success stories that JHR has supported in the 15 years of its existence.
The stories published in the Toronto Star and the National Post show how through mobilizing media lives of people can really be changed for the better. How it can give voice to women being raped in war torn South Sudan, how it can hold authorities accountable in Liberia, how it can mobilize a community in Northern Ontario to get the services it needs and much more.
